This slideshow includes the Museum of American History (starting with Julia Childs kitchen), the Museum of Natural History, a mask from 1910 made of Macaw Feathers from South American in the Museum of Native American History, The Botanical Gardens, a visiting Schooner in the harbor and some of the buildings we saw, complete with rooftop gardens. Our bike rides through the city were not for the faint of heart, but for those of us with physical dexterity and mental awareness ( I know that doesn't really include us but we sure gave it our best shot, and neither of us ended up being a statistic! I am still pondering over whether riding bikes on the roads with the cars are scarier than the sidewalks with shell shocked tourists!
