"Tie a Knot and hang on"

~ Gertrude Merrill

This is how our blog came to be named. Gary's mother Gertrude would always say those words whenever a problem arose. Tie A Knot has been
a "challenge" to get back on the seas and whenever we have a bad day or one more part breaks down
we look at each other and say......

"Tie a Knot and hang on"!!!

Wise words from a wise woman.

"Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So Throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.

Explore. Dream. Discover."
